Foreign Policy and Strategy

This program has three components: the National Interest Dialogues series, in partnership with the Bucharest Office of GMF-US, which aims to bring together a community of experts and political decision makers that review Romanian national interest, in a competent, comprehensive, inclusive and non-partisan manner; Romania East-West Gateway project, a strategic project of national interest proposed to the Romanian Government by the Aspen Institute Romania and its partners with the mission of identifying ways to leverage Romania’s geographic position and establish it as a strategic gateway for East-West flows, logistics, trade and energy; the foreign policy thread of Bucharest Forum, a regional event built around the idea of a New Silk Road as a space for Euro-Atlantic strategic policy.
