Cora Motoc is currently Political Officer at the UK Embassy in Bucharest and a former adviser to the Romanian Government (PM's Office), working within a British-Romanian (royal/republican) structure called The High Representative for Sustainable Development Cora has previously been Coordinator of Projects with the Rule of Law Program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Although, she has always worked in the "third sector", in programs focusing on anti-corruption, media freedom and human rights, for the past year she has switched sides, in an attempt to reform the public sector from within. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Bucharest and has completed M.A. studies in Political Theory with the Institute for Political Research of the University of Bucharest. She also spent her high-school senior year in the United States of America, on a Department of State Scholarship. She obsessively believes in the value of education. Her other main interests are political communication, recent history and civic engagement.
