Daniela Iurea is currently the Project Coordinator at the Urban Observer, the permanent cultural program of the Romanian Union of Architects, and a PhD student at the University of Bucharest. Prior to that, she worked as a freelance urban planning consultant and was the head of the Environment Department at Habitat Proiect S.A. Iasi, one of the biggest research and designing company in Iasi city. Her professional experience covers territorial and urban planning and environmental impact assessments. She was a volunteer member of the Environmental Agency of Iasi County and has been involved in several NGO's projects. She holds a M.A. in Present Environment and sustainable development and a B.A. in Environmental Sciences. In her spare time, she practices ballroom dancing and she actively participates in competitions and shows.
