Elvin is an alumnus of Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship program, which is the program of the US Department of State. During two year spent in the USA studying towards his MBA he also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas assisting the Chief Policy Adviser in his research. Apart from general professional development he was also engaged in community service, and presented the first green living roof to the public at Botanical Research Institute of Texas. Upon his graduation from the Neeley School of Business at TCU, he returned back to his home country to make positive changes happen. Currently, as a Product Development Manager at Nar Mobile Telecommunication Company in Azerbaijan, he is leading a core business team of experts who are engaged in developing new products, services as well as marketing campaigns using big data analytics. Moreover, together with his lead researcher, he co-authored a paper on “Effects of Managerial Practices on Knowledge Production in Think Tanks”, and was invited to present at the CESS conference at Harriman Institute, Columbia University. In addition, Elvin considers teaching as one of his primary methods of sharing the knowledge and is currently lecturing “Statistics for Economics and Finance” at Azerbaijan State Economics University MBA program. Outside of professional interests he likes photography, reading and clubbing. His motto in life is “Striving for excellence and value creation”.
