Mihai is an Investment Banker with Goldman Sachs, the leading U.S. bank, covering multi-billion transactions across Europe and Middle East in their Investment Banking Division. He is based in London. Prior to his current assignment, Mihai worked for Morgan Stanley in their London office in the M&A team.
Before his London career, he worked for the European Investment Bank (EIB) Private Equity arm in Luxembourg and for BCR / Erste Group, where he headed the M&A team of the largest bank in Romania and covered privatizations for the Romanian Government. Right after graduating from college, he worked for Citi Corporate & Investment Banking in their high-potential program.
Mihai has an M.B.A. degree from INSEAD (France / Singapore) where he was president of multiple societies and kept a blog in Financial Times. He also has a B.A. in International Business from AES and is a graduate of the National Defense College.
He is the Vice-president of the Aspen Fellows Council and a Fellow of the Aspen Institute's Young Leaders Programme - Class of 2010.
