Catarina Lopes Pereira is a Health Economics Advisor at Medicines for Europe since April 2016. As part of the Market Access team, she is working to shape in the EU a dynamic and sustainable market situation that enables fast and fair pricing and reimbursement for generic, biosimilar and value added medicines, thereby improving and increasing the access for patients to affordable generic, biosimilar and value added medicines.

MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences by background, she obtained her degree and master in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon. After her master, she worked as Health Economics & Outcomes Research Analyst in the Center for Evidence-Based Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon during which she has focused on Health Technology Assessment.
