With a 20-year experience at GSK, Dana Constantinescu took over the role of General Manager of the Pharmaceutical Products Division in Romania on 1st April 2018, being promoted from Corporate Affairs, Communication and Vaccines Director. Dana leads the management team of GSK Romania with the goal of increasing the access of patients in Romania to innovative drugs and vaccines developed by GSK, to develop local business and to continue aligning local strategy with GSK.

In the past year, Dana has coordinated Corporate Affairs, Market Access, Public Health and PR & Communications, as well as the vaccines team. In addition, she was responsible with developing the strategy for improving patient access to GSK medicine, as well as for coordinating and implementing the strategy concerning the relationship with external partners, the authorities and the professional associations that GSK is part of.

A graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry Carol Davila in Bucharest, Dana has extensive experience both in the medical field, as a doctor and in the pharmaceutical industry. She joined GSK in 1999 as Medical Representative, and soon after became a Medical Advisor responsible for key brands such as Seretide. Throughout her career, Dana served as Medical Affairs Manager, Medical & Regulatory Director  GSK Romania, Business Unit Director for the Division Specialty Care (franchises of Respiratory, Urology, Oncology and HIV), Therapy Area Lead Respiratory and Corporate Affairs, Communication and Vaccines Director, starting in February 2017.
