As Public Policy Programs Manager at Aspen Institute Romania, Iulian is in charge of facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogue and developing AIR’s relations with a wide range of partners from the public sector, private sector, academia and civil society, with the aim of reaching consensus on concrete policy recommendations in Romania’s most relevant policy fields. Before becoming Public Policy Programs Manager, Iulian has been part of the AIR team since 2015, having gained significant expertise in drafting policy papers and reports, as well as organizing roundtables and public events.

Iulian completed his BA in International Relations with Academic Honors at Webster University Vienna and also earned a Master of Science Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University in Sweden. Before joining the Aspen team, Iulian has gained work experience and fostered his academic interests by carrying out traineeships at the Employers’ Group of the European Economic and Social Committee, the European Union Delegation to the OSCE in Vienna and the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organizations in Vienna.
