A passionate social scientist, in more than a decade Vlad has developed his competencies as communicator, researcher, consultant and community builder in Romania and abroad.
Between 2012 and 2017 Vlad worked with the Varieties of Democracy Institute in Sweden, contributing to the creation of the largest publicly available dataset of democracy indicators, and worked as a consultant for the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in Stockholm.
Since returning to Romania in 2017 he dedicated his time to social impact projects working as a debate trainer, political consultant, fundraiser and community organiser. Currently, Vlad is in charge of Community Management for the Aspen Institute Romania and is the president of Mișcăm Vâlcea – a grassroots organisation in his home county.
Holding a degree in Political Science from the University of Bucharest, Vlad is currently completing a Masters Degree in International Administration and Governance at Gothenburg University.
