Andreea Varga, MD, PhD, MSc is an Associate Professor of Medicine at The Faculty of Medicine in English, ”George Emil Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Targu Mures, Romania. She is a Consultant in Cardiology and Family Medicine. Currently, she holds the position of Deputy Director of the Hamburg Branch of University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Targu Mures ”George Emil Palade” (UMFST). She graduated Faculty of Medicine in 2005 at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu Mures, Romania. As an academic researcher, she earned a PhD degree in Medicine with” Magna cum Laude” honours. She continued her research in the field of cardiovascular medicine at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, Italy, with a Master’s Degree in” Pulmonary Vascular Diseases”.
She coordinates the Postgraduate program for continuing professional formation and development: “New techniques for teaching and evaluation in medical and pharmaceutical programs.” In the position of Associate Professor, she is facing the responsibility for innovation and creativity in developing new processes that help to evolve and drive change on the organizational level.
