President of the National Health Insurance House, Radu Gheorghe Ţibichi (age 42), is a specialist in sanitary management, highly qualified in economics and informatics. Trained at “Al. I Cuza” University and “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Iasi), Mr. Ţibichi worked in the social health insurance system since its beginnings in 1999 and climbed up the leading hierarchy of the institution to the top levels. He was director of the contractual relations department at Health Insurance House Iași for seven years until he was called in 2013 in Bucharest, to take the executive lead of the National Health Insurance House, as general director. In 2014, for four months, he managed interim position of institution president, and in April this year, he was appointed by the prime-minister in the current position, which is equivalent to the rank of secretary of state.
