Radu Hossu is currently managing a PR company founded by him, an opinion editor at Biz Brasov, and an activist pro-Ukraine who received the two medals, Order of Merit class I from Ukraine Joint Forces, Hero of Ukraine, Serhiy Naev and Order of Merit III rank for his contribution making him the only Romanian civilian having received this honour.

Hossu distinguished himself from the first days of the war in Ukraine by the way he recounted events on the front. Since then, he has regularly travelled to Ukraine to bring aid. “It is the greatest honor in my life,” was the message posted by Radu Hossu on his Facebook page after he received the Ukrainian distinction. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, called Hossu a “volunteer, correspondent, and philanthropist from Romania.” The Ukrainian President signed the act on September 4, 2023.
