Mihaela Mihailescu is an accomplished finance professional with over 20 years of experience in lending debt and equity transactions. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Romania at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Bucharest, Mihaela has a proven track record in managing teams and leading business development initiatives. From this role she overseas, in close coordination with the EBRD Director, the Bank’s operations in the country.

Throughout her career at EBRD, Mihaela has been instrumental in implementing country strategies, maintaining strong client relationships and leading business development initiatives. Her expertise spans deal origination and execution, with a particular focus on policy dialogue and value creation.

Mihaela holds a MBA in International Finance from Brandeis International Business School and is ACCA certified.
