Leadership Programs
The Aspen Leadership Programs aim to instil for public, private and civic leaders a better understanding of values-based leadership and to increase their ability to identify and manage challenges, taking a commitment to promote the values of “the Good Society” through the way they lead in the future.
Through the Aspen Leadership Programs, the participants join a growing community of Fellows and Alumni of Aspen Institute Romania, which is already covering more than 40 countries and more than 1600 extraordinary individuals, all age groups and walks of life.
The programs include:
- Aspen Young Leaders Program: Designed for young individuals with the potential, interest, and determination to exercise leadership to the highest standards of civic and corporate responsibility, aligned with the ethical values of the Aspen Institute.
- Aspen Public Service Leadership Program: A fellowship-based program dedicated to the most promising leaders in Romania’s public sector, aiming to motivate, educate, and inspire representatives from various institutions to become promoters of change and improvement in the public sector.
- Aspen Seminar for Leaders: A 4 day seminar supporting the Institute’s mission to foster values-based leadership, encouraging individuals to reflect and act in accordance with the ideals and ideas that define a good society.
- Transatlantic Socrates Seminar: A seminar fostering dialogue between emerging leaders from both sides of the Atlantic, focusing on critical issues affecting the transatlantic relationship and global affairs.
- Custom Healthcare Seminar: Tailored seminars addressing leadership and ethical challenges specific to the healthcare sector, promoting dialogue among professionals to improve healthcare systems and policies.
- New Economy & Society Seminar: A seminar exploring the evolving dynamics of the global economy and society, discussing the implications of technological advancements, globalization, and policy changes.
- Aspen Junior Seminar: Focused on students and young professionals aged 20–24, this program introduces participants to values-based leadership through text-based Socratic dialogue, encouraging them to reflect on their roles as future leaders.
- Aspen Teen Online Seminar: An online seminar for high school students aged 15–19, introducing them to values-based leadership and encouraging thoughtful discussion on contemporary issues.
Building on its existing initiatives, the Aspen Institute has expanded its activities in Moldova to include a diverse range of programs aimed at fostering values-based leadership and resilience among young leaders, public sector professionals, and civic actors. Leadership Programs in the Republic of Moldova include:
- Junior Leaders Program Moldova: Focused on empowering young individuals aged 18–25 with leadership potential, equipping them with the tools to drive positive societal change.
- Aspen Public Service Leadership Program Moldova: A program tailored for high-potential leaders in Moldova’s public sector, emphasizing good governance, ethics, and public service excellence.
- Aspen Socrates Seminar on Democracy & Resilience in Moldova: A seminar designed to bring together Moldovan leaders to discuss critical issues related to democracy, resilience, and the challenges faced by Moldova in a dynamic geopolitical context.
By participating in these programs, leaders from all sectors gain valuable insights into leadership and ethics, as well as access to a unique network of individuals committed to shaping a better society through their actions and decisions.
