Muharrem is an Associate Manager in KPMG’s Deal Advisory department, specializing in management consulting and corporate finance advisory within the energy sector. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and a Law degree from the University of Bucharest.

His academic and professional background is defined by the synergy between legal, financial, and strategic perspectives, reinforced through sector-specific expertise in areas such as Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy. At KPMG, Muharrem has advised major state-owned and private companies on high-profile strategic projects in the energy sector, including buy-side M&A advisory aimed at strengthening defense and agrifood supply chain resilience, decarbonization and regulatory strategy, investment planning, restructuring of energy-producing capacities in line with European Commission and PNRR requirements, project finance, and state aid compliance.
