The goal of Aspen Institute Romania’s partnerships is to promote a concerted effort towards common goals and the exchange of ideas and expertise, in accordance with the Institute’s mission of fostering values-based leadership and reflecting on what represents the good society. To do so, Aspen Institute Romania has established throughout the years partnerships with key stakeholders in Romanian society, including public authorities, NGOs, think-tanks, universities and business chambers. These partnerships help us facilitate a transparent, responsible and non-partisan reflection process, between public decision-makers, private stakeholders and representatives of the non-governmental and academic sectors and greatly contribute to the success of our policy and leadership programs as well as our public events.

National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE)
Autoritatea Naţională de Reglementare în domeniul Energiei – ANRE, este autoritate administrativă autonomă, cu personalitate juridică, sub control parlamentar, finanţată integral din venituri proprii, independentă decizional, organizatoric şi funcţional, având ca obiect de activitate elaborarea, aprobarea şi monitorizarea aplicării ansamblului de reglementări obligatorii la nivel naţional necesar funcţionării sectorului şi pieţei energiei electrice, termice şi a gazelor naturale în condiţii de eficienţă, concurenţă, transparenţă şi protecţie a consumatorilor.
Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF)
Autoritatea de Supraveghere Financiară (ASF) s-a înființat în 2013 ca autoritate administrativă autonomă, de specialitate, cu personalitate juridică, independentă si autofinanțată. Pentru a păstra stabilitatea piețelor financiare non-bancare, rolul ASF este să monitorizeze și să evalueze riscurile și vulnerabilitățile acestora în scopul facilitării acțiunilor necesare de reglementare și supraveghere pentru gestionarea acestor situații. ASF urmărește să întreprindă măsuri corective în mod preventiv și să aibă o abordare prospectivă a activităților desfășurate.
The National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM)
Autoritatea Naţională pentru Administrare şi Reglementare în Comunicaţii (ANCOM) este instituţia care promovează interesele utilizatorilor de servicii de comunicații electronice, servicii poștale și servicii digitale în contextul tranziției la societatea Gigabit, prin valorificarea optimă a mixului de instrumente de administrare și reglementare aflate la dispoziția Autorității. ANCOM s-a format prin reunirea a două instituţii cu experienţă şi expertiză în domeniul administrării şi reglementării acestui sector: Inspectoratul General pentru Comunicaţii şi Tehnologia Informaţiei (IGCTI) şi Autoritatea Naţională de Reglementare în Comunicaţii şi Tehnologia Informaţiei (ANRCTI).
The Authority for the Digitalization of Romania (ADR)
Autoritatea pentru Digitalizarea României este o instituție creată în 2020 pentru a realiza obiectivele ambițioase ale Guvernului României în sfera transformării digitale a societății românești. Digitalizarea este un tip de proces care, odată inițiat, nu mai poate fi oprit niciodată. De aceea, digitalizarea României înseamnă trecerea la o nouă paradigmă – tehnologică, informațională și socială.
Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC)
Directoratul Național de Securitate Cibernetică (DNSC) este autoritatea competentă la nivel național pentru spațiul cibernetic național civil, precum și pentru gestionarea riscurilor și a incidentelor de securitate cibernetică.
Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC)
The Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC) is a centre of excellence in the field of resilience, a partner of NATO and the EU, acting for the benefit of these organisations, as well as Member States or partners. The establishment of the Centre was recognized and welcomed in the joint statement of the heads of state and government gathered on the occasion of the Brussels Summit in June 14th, 2021: "We will continue to take a whole-of-government approach to enhancing the resilience of our societies. […] We welcome the establishment of the Euro-Atlantic Centre for Resilience in Romania." The Centre carries out its activity in synergy with the objectives of the EU and NATO in the field of resilience, without being directly subordinated to either of these organisations. In this way, E-ARC can also offer expertise to states in the Black Sea area which are not EU or NATO members (Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, etc.).
European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC)
The ECCC aims to increase Europe’s cybersecurity capacities and competitiveness, working together with a Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs) to build a strong cybersecurity Community.
The Bucharest office of the German Marshall Fund of the US
The Bucharest office of the German Marshall Fund of the US serves as the headquarters for the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation (BST). In order to harness the tremendous civic energy that exists within the wider Black Sea region as a force for regional integration and good governance, GMF created the Black Sea Trust, a grant-making initiative. The broad goals of the Black Sea Trust include building trust among citizens in their public institutions and strengthening this critical set of institutions; affirming the value of citizen participation in the democratic process; promoting involvement of civil society in conflict resolution and fostering regional cross-border ties in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest
University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest is the largest and the oldest technical university in the country and among the most prestigious universities in Romania. The tradition of our institution, developed in over 190 years through the effort of the most important nation's schoolmasters and of the generations of students, is not the only convincing reason. Today, the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest is undergoing a continuous modernization process, being involved in a permanent dialogue with great universities in Europe and all over the world. The mission of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest has been thought over as a blend of education, research and innovation, which represents a key towards a knowledge-based society and economy.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania) is a first rank advocacy and business growth professional association in Romania, the business association of first choice for advocacy and business growth. AmCham Romania is firmly committed to facilitating an open dialogue between the business community and the central authorities, promoting transparent solutions and priorities for making Romania a better home for businesses and increasing the country’s economic competitiveness in the region and at European level.
Foreign Investors Council / Consiliul Investitorilor Străini (FIC)
The FIC's main objective is to promote sustainable economic growth by improving Romania's investment landscape. The FIC's members strongly believe that the path to sustainable growth lies in public policies shaped through a transparent dialogue between the business community and the policy makers. The FIC is interested in a constructive dialogue and efficient and transparent consultations with the public authorities. This dialogue should concern issues of national relevance and of importance for the Romanian public and the business community alike and should be bedrock for sustainable development.
Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești
Founded in 1948 in Bucharest, the university initially bears the name of the Institute of Oil and Gas, having at that time two faculties: the Faculty of Drilling and Production and the Faculty of Petroleum Refining. In the academic year 2017-2018 there are about 6,200 students attending the Petroleum-Gas University lectures, out of which 320 are foreign citizens coming from 27 countries.
