As a graduate in tourism continued her studies with a master’s degree in European integration at Bradford University – Great Britain and a master’s degree in public policy in Tokyo – Japan at the National Institute of Political Graduates. She works now as a public manager of Brasov County Council. She coordinates the development and promotion of tourism in Brasov County in close collaboration with stakeholders from various fields (NGO’s, public institutions, Chamber of Commerce, accommodation units, restaurants and local producers, leisure companies, universities & research companies). Her activity within the local government is reflected also in the process of implementation and monitoring of the ongoing projects on tourism (such as “Thematic Trail Trigger” – Interreg Europe) or climate change (such as “People and Planet – A common destiny” – European Commission DEAR Programme). She represents the Carpathian Sustainable Tourism Platform – Center Romania, as the  coordinator for the implementation of the Strategy for the Sustainable Tourism Development of the Carpathians.  She is also a member of the Romanian National Tourism Task Force within Carpathian Convention, vice president  of the Association for the Promotion and Development of Tourism in Brasov County and board member of  the Federation of Tourism Promotion Associations (FAPT) Romania, attending relevant national and international joint meetings or conferences on sustainable tourism, cultural heritage and good governance.
