Carla Popescu is a Master’s student in Communication and Intercultural Studies at the UNESCO Chair, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, and since 2025 also a Law student. With a dual academic background in Philosophy of Culture and Marketing, she combines cultural, legal, and strategic perspectives—an interdisciplinary profile that unites rigorous analysis with practical impact.
Since 2023, Carla has been actively shaping projects at the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she has gained substantial experience in advancing resilience strategies with international relevance. Her work at the Centre has allowed her to engage with high-level projects at the intersection of security, diplomacy, and intercultural cooperation. Demonstrating exceptional leadership, she coordinated the volunteer teams for the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Forum in both 2024 and 2025, playing a central role in ensuring the success of one of the most significant international platforms on resilience. She has also engaged in international academic activities at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, where she strengthened her expertise in applied ethics and global governance, reinforcing the connection between theoretical research and practical solutions to contemporary challenges.
Starting in 2025, Carla is also an Aspen Institute alumna, a recognition that further reflects her commitment to leadership, critical thinking, and civic responsibility. Her decision to pursue Law complements her academic path, providing a stronger institutional and juridical foundation for her work in diplomacy, cultural dialogue, and international cooperation. Belonging to a new generation of leaders who combine academic rigor with a forward-looking vision, Carla Popescu aspires to build bridges between people and institutions. With her strategic mindset, adaptability, and dedication to cultural diplomacy, she is emerging as an influential voice in strengthening resilience and fostering international cooperation.
