
Cătălina-Andreea Tufeanu

Cătălina-Andreea Tufeanu is a Master’s student in Crisis Management and Conflict Prevention at the “Carol I” National Defense University in Bucharest, where she also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Security and Defense.
She has gained professional experience through internships at the Ministry of National Defence (ISPAIM), the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives (CNSAS), and the Senate of Romania’s Foreign Policy Committee. As an author, she has published several scientific articles on historical and security-related topics, including contributions to the 2025 International Conference “Strategies XXI” organized by UNAp.
Her international outlook is reflected in her active participation in numerous Erasmus+ projects addressing themes such as ecology, sustainability, anti-racism, European policies, and mental health. She also volunteers with EduSpark Hub Romania, where she coordinates youth projects under the Erasmus framework.
Cătălina-Andreea has been engaged in leadership roles from an early stage, first as Vice President of her high school Students’ Council, later as Fundraising Director of the Students’ Association during her Bachelor studies, and currently as Vice President of the Association’s Board of Directors at Master’s level.
Her main areas of interest include international security, crisis management, public policy, and youth empowerment, with a strong commitment to promoting collaboration, resilience, and sustainable development at national and international levels.
She is also an Aspen Junior Regional Seminar 2025 Alumna, committed to advancing dialogue, leadership, and civic responsibility among young professionals.
