Dragos F. Manea currently serves as political affairs officer at NATO HQ, where he covers NATO affairs and security policy implementation for Southeast Europe and the Black Sea region. From 2019 to 2024, he served as chief of staff to the NATO Deputy Secretary General, working to enhance the Alliance’s partnerships, strengthen its resilience, and drive a robust Euro-Atlantic innovation agenda. Since, October 2025, Dragoș is also a Millennium Fellow at the Atlantic Council.

A career diplomat, Dragoș has experience in shaping security policy at the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also has background in the private sector, particularly in media and public affairs, with a focus on economic development.
