Florin-Alexandru Alexe is elected Member of Parliament representing the County of Maramures, is secretary, Committee for Romanians Abroad and member, Committee for Industries and Services. He is also Associate Professor at the Marketing Department of the University of Economic Studies from Bucharest and Lecturer at Dimitrie Cantemir University. He has been awarded a PhD in Marketing, with a dissertation focusing on the branding of Romania’s capital city, Bucharest. Alongside the academic career, Florin Alexe is an active politician. He has been for many years the president of the Youth Organization of the National Liberal Party, as well as the President of PNL Sector 3, the local branch of the National Liberal Party in one of Bucharest’s six districts. Since 2008, he has been a member of the National Board of the National Liberal Party. Between 2012 and 2016 he was a Member of the Romanian Parliament, serving in the Culture, Arts and Mass Media Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. Previously, he had been local and municipal Councilor in Bucharest.

He is a fellow of the third edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, Autumn Cohort 2021-2022.
