Florin Anghel is a young Romanian doctor. Driven by a vision for transformative change in healthcare, he aspires to be a mover—someone who not only excels in his field but also shapes the future of patients through innovation, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to improving patient outcomes.

He is educated at “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest (CDUMPB). During University years, lead by the passion of modern healthcare systems, he pursued a year abroad at University of Paris and three internships in Cardiovascular Surgery at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, Centre Universitaire Saint-Luc in Brussels, and UKC Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Currently his clinical training is focusing in Cardiovascular Surgery in the Emergency University Hospital of Bucharest. Florin is involved as a PhD candidate at CDUMPB in the research of preoperative planning through 3D-printed models leveraging the surgical precision. His academic journey includes a doctoral grant at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, where advanced methodology in surgical planning is explored. Recently, he was assigned as Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University.
