Georgiana MOICEANU is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business Engineering & Management at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest. She teaches courses such as Entrepreneurship, Decision-Making Problems, and Business Strategy, drawing on a multidisciplinary background that integrates both engineering and economics. She holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Environmental Engineering from National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest and one in Economics from The Bucharest University of Economic Studies and earned her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Politehnica Bucharest, where she also completed postdoctoral studies in the same field.
Beyond her academic role, she has extensive experience in project management. She currently leads the Project Development Office within the Department of European Funds and Strategic Projects, where she coordinates the development, writing, and implementation of projects funded through diverse Funds such as European Structural Funds. These initiatives primarily support student educational development and promote lifelong learning across diverse groups of learners. In recent years, her portfolio has expanded to include infrastructure projects, as well as emerging work in media-related initiatives.
Her scholarly contributions include six books and more than sixty published articles spanning engineering and management. She is an active member of several national and international professional organizations, including the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng).
