Nicoleta Deliu, 35, is an award-winning Communications professional with more than 12 years of experience. She is currently working for the largest bank in Romania as Head of Corporate Communications and Community Affairs and is attending an MBA program at Berlin School for Creative Leadership. Nicoleta is also a holder of various professional certifications such as the Chartered Institute for Public Relations Diploma (London).

Nicoleta is an Aspen Fellow since 2016 when she took part in the Aspen Young Leaders Program. In 2018 she was elected President of the Aspen Fellows Network of the Aspen Institute in Romania.

In 2008 she started a community of young professionals working in marketing and communication, the International Advertising Association – Young Professionals Romanian Chapter, with the purpose of bringing together and supporting the development of young people working in marketing and communications. This organization is currently one of the most well-known in its field worldwide.

Nicoleta is involved in a wide range of social activities and volunteering which help her better understand the social and economic potential of Romania. Most relevant projects she started are the largest program of financial education in the country (Romania has the lowest level of financial literacy in EU) and the most efficient platform for private donations for NGOs in Romania – Bursabinelui.ro.

She values and lives by courage and resilience, as she believes that these are the true and unbeatable ways of reaching higher purposes. She is genuinely committed to the advance of fairness, unity and developing human potential for a better world.
