Radu Mihaiu is a politician and former IT entrepreneur, known for his integrity, modernization efforts, and transparent governance. He served as Secretary of State responsible for digitalization (2016), and between 2020 and 2024 he led the City Hall of Sector 2, where he implemented over 1,100 projects – ranging from infrastructure and education to urban regeneration and digitalization. He is recognized for his bold actions against networks of vested interests and for his data-driven, publicly consultative leadership style.

He is currently a USR deputy and an active member of the administration and digitalization committees. He is married and the father of two daughters, with passions for technology, gastronomy, sports, and films.
