Anca Dana Dragu started her career in 1996 as Economist at the National Bank of Romania, Banking Refinancing and Open Market Operations Department. From 2000, she continued her activity at the National Bank of Romania, in the Regulation and Licensing Department. During 2001-2013, she achieved a great experience being involved in various and challenging activities as Economist of International Monetary Fund, Regional Office for Romania and Bulgaria, in Bucharest. Finally, she fullfield her activity as Economist at European Commission, Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs Unit: Macroeconomic, Imbalances and Adjustment from 2013 until her appointment as Minister of Public Finance, in November 2015.
