With more than 10 years of experience in the field of Public Policy, Joana Sánchez was appointed this year responsible for Public Policy in CEE for Mastercard. Previously, she was responsible for Public Policy in Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands of Mastercard.
As responsible for Public Policy in CEE, Joana develops and coordinates the company’s Institutional Relations strategy in nineteen markets.

Joana Sánchez holds a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Europe from the University of Bath (United Kingdom) and completed her bachelor’s degree at New York University. She is also native speaker in Spanish and Polish, and has a bilingual level in English.
