With a background in international relations, politics and economics, Andrei has started, back in 2018, to explore the field of sustainable mobility and the usage of public space. In 2020, he founded the NGO Urban Bike Revolution aiming to create and spread a culture of daily cycling in Romanian cities.

He believes that by transferring the daily commutes from motorized vehicles to bikes, we will drastically reduce our ecological footprint and generate social and individual benefits in our communities. This transition requires an intelligent approach towards designing and developing safe infrastructure, educational programs, targeted analyses, solutions and campaigns. To assure a real transformation he focuses on developing strong partnerships with various social actors: citizens, large and small business, public authorities, organizations and other stakeholders.

He is thrilled by the opportunity to share his vision, expertise and approach with other enthusiast stakeholders across diverse industries and fields.
