Cristian Nelu Moldovan, currently serves as Packaging Recovery Manager at Coca-Cola HBC Romania.
Mr. Moldovan is dedicated professional with more than several years of experience in the fields of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability with great emphasis on circular economy, packaging & packaging waste and Deposit Return-System implementation. Demonstrated success of working in the FMCG & business association sector but with experience also in public Government roles.
Previous to his corporate carrer, Mr. Moldovan occupied several position in the Government of Romania, Ministry of External Affairs and the Romanian Parliament dealing with EU affairs and international relations. He was part of the teams which prepared Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, both at Government and Parliamentary level.
Mr. Moldovan holds three BAs: one in International Relations & EU studies; one in Romanian Language and Literature – English Language and Literature from the “G.E Palade” University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Tîrgu Mureş and one in Journalism & Communication from “Babes-Bolay” University of Cluj-Napoca. He also holds a master’s degree in Security Studies from University of Bucharest and a PhD in Sociology from the same university. He also graduated Business Sustainability Management Program at University of Cambridge – Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
