
Georgiana Camelia Georgescu (Cretan)

Georgiana is currently the Vice-Dean responsible for the relationship with socio-economic environment and students’ life, at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Finance at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies while being involved in other projects, as a consultant. She holds a BA in „Finance and Banking”, a MA in „Banks and Insurance” and a PhD in „Finance” from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and she is teaching Public financial policies, Prices and competition, International juridical double taxation and Financial Controlling and Reporting at the same university, within bachelor and master programs. Before holding the position of Vice-Dean she was also working for the National Ministry of Education as an expert within the Control Body of the Minister and she got involved in managing and implementing several projects financed from the European Social Fund, developed in both the public sector and the NGOs. She is interested in traveling, knowing and understanding people all over the world.
Georgiana is a fellow of the first edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2018 and 2019.
