Radu Samson is one of the local leaders of the „Uniunea Salvați România” political party, having been elected president of the party’s county organization in Neamț, since December 2017. He got involved politically at the age of 30, ten years after he started his own real estate firm in Roman, the town he was born and still lives in.

While developing a career in the real estate sector, he also studied psychology for 3 years. After getting his degree in psychology Radu decided to continue his education in a field he considered to be more related to his daily occupation and went into law school, until 2014.

In 2016, seeking a way to give something back to the local community, Radu became a member of the Uniunea Salvați România political party. In June 2017, when partial elections were organized in his hometown, he ran for mayor thus being the youngest of the candidates. After the elections he became the leader of the local political opposition despite the fact that he isn’t holding an elected office.

When asked about his hobbies and little pleasures, Radu says his favorite activity is „thinking outside the box”.

Radu Samson is a fellow of the first edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2018 and 2019.
