Cristina is a graduate of economic studies specialized in management in the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and currently serves as head of financial control in the National Fund for Guarantee for SMEs, having amassed throughout her career significant expertise in financial services and communications sectors.

Most of her professional background is in state owned companies with a significant administration expertise accumulated working in three ministries of the Romanian Government.

Throughout her work, Cristina carried out multiple top executive roles related to business development, investment lending to corporates and SMEs, strategic planning, corporate governance and project management.

Passionate of economics and international relations, Cristina has attended multiple development programs in Romania and abroad focused on business development and financial services and is a strong believer in lifelong learning and consistent performance.

Cristina is a fellow of the second edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2019 and 2020.
