Alina Pârâială has a BA in European relations and European studies from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj and she has also attended several Master’s and advanced degree programmes in marketing and business communication, administrative law, economic diplomacy and national security intelligence management.

At present the director of the Directorate for Projects and Programmes within the Ministry of Communications and Information Society, Alina has chosen to follow a career in administration ever since 2009, and she has had various managerial positions and has coordinated cabinets of dignitaries from different spheres: transport, economy, foreign investment, SMEs, tourism, regional development, electronic communication and the information society.

With vast experience in managing administrative duties, such as coordinating work groups regarding the preparation of normative acts relevant to the field, organizing the representation of ministries in their relationship with other government institutions, companies/ authorities/ within the purview of each represented ministry, dialogue with national and international delegations, contributing to the preparation of ministry budgets, organizing the promotion and approval of legislative initiatives, managing projects and programmes, Alina proves to be completely willing to tackle new challenges, she has excellent communication and coordination skills as well as proven achievements in day-to-day and strategic management.

Alina is a fellow of the second edition of the Aspen Public Service Leadership Program, organized between 2019 and 2020.
