Razvan Ionescu is a senior expert for the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration in Romania. Razvan has 13 years of experience in the evaluation of EU-funded programmes. His main skills involve the design, commissioning and management of evaluations. In 2009, Razvan was part of the team who managed the first ad-hoc evaluation of the priority sectors in the Operational Programme Administrative Capacity Development. His main professional pursuit is making evaluations a real instrument for the decision-making processes. Razvan was a speaker at the 6th international evaluation conference held in Vilnius, in 2015. In 2019, he attended a workshop in Lisbon on measuring impact in ESI Funds. Razvan has a degree in Political Science from the University of Bucharest and kept a steady focus on Political Theory for his Masters studies. His hobbies include photography, podcasts and 80s French movies.
