Ana Jovanovska is the Senior Executive Support Assitant at UNHCR Skopje. Her incumbent encompasses an active role in the visioning future and foresight  exercise and creation of the new innovative communication and country strategy. She is also in charge of the external engagement of communication with high-level counterparts such as representatives from the  Government, International Organizations, Embassies, and the UN Country Team. She is in the Focal Point for oversight and follow-up on UN-related activities, particularly in the context of UNSDCF.

Ana Jovanovska was the Head of the Sustainable Development Unit in the Cabinet of the Deputy President in charge of economic affairs in the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia from 2019-2021. She covered the field of sustainable development as a Focal Point in the UN Agenda 2030. She was the Coordinator of the first National Voluntary Review for the implementation of the Agenda 2030, the Rapid integrated assessment for the Agenda 2030 and the Multidimensional Review jointly conducted with OECD.

She has a bachelor’s degree in financial management; in 2019 she finished the Academy of Diplomacy at the European Academy for Diplomacy in Warsaw, Poland. Currently, she is in the final phase of the Master of Business Administration Program at Sheffield University. She has conducted fellowships in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sweden. She speaks English, Spanish, and Serbian fluently.
