Florentina is the Director of the Aspen Institute Romania Brussels Office, where she leads strategic initiatives across European policy networks and international dialogue platforms. In addition to her institutional leadership role, she serves as an independent consultant specializing in European strategy, diplomatic communication, and international affairs.

Previously, Florentina served as a strategic communication expert at the European External Action Service (EEAS), where she led strategic public diplomacy initiatives focusing on the EU Indo-Pacific Strategy and EU’s Security & Defence portfolio, providing support to EU Delegations and Missions around the world. Her diplomatic experience includes spearheading strategic communication campaigns, high-level ministerial forums, and managing complex multistakeholders relations.

Building on a strong foundation in event management and policy dialogue, Florentina has designed and executed high-level policy dialogues and international conferences. Her professional foundation encompasses extensive experience in government affairs, strategic marketing, and advertising, providing her with unique cross-sectoral expertise in European and global policy environments.

Florentina’s international perspective has been shaped by her academic journey across Romania, Norway, and Belgium, giving her deep cross-cultural expertise and capabilities, essential for navigating complex European institutional landscapes. This multicultural foundation enables her to bridge diverse stakeholder communities and develop inclusive strategic approaches.
