Claudia Mocanu is an experienced executive with 20 years of experience in the financial and leasing industries. Born in 1980, Claudia is currently Vice President of the Board and Chief Sales Officer of UniCredit Leasing Romania, a role which she holds since April 2023, being in charge of leading the Sales Division, formulating strategic plans and running the daily operations. 

Before the current role, from March 2020 to April 2023, she was Vice President of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of UniCredit Leasing Romania, managing the financial resources, funding plan, financial planning & budgeting.

Earlier career includes other key roles in UniCredit Bank Romania, from 2007 to 2020 covering several responsibilities, contributing to the setting of commercial strategies, commercial planning for Corporate and Investment Banking Division.

Claudia holds a Master’s degree in Corporate and Investment Banking from Bocconi University in Milan, a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, complemented by several other leadership programs and specialised courses.

Claudia is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through her work, her guiding principles being fairness and equity.
