Camelia is a Policy Advisor for EU Affairs with extensive experience in education and training policies within central government. With strong expertise in policy analysis and coordination, she has first-hand experience of the EU decision-making process as a member of the Education Committee of the EU Council. She also contributed as a member of the EU Romanian Presidency team (2019), where she was involved in agenda-setting and drafting working documents for meetings at the EU level.

In her role within the Ministry of Education, Camelia oversees cooperation activities with the OECD in the field of education and training. She ensures Romania’s participation in the OECD’s Education Policy Committee (EDPC) and contributes to various country reports. Additionally, as a national representative in the Bologna Process Monitoring Working Group, Camelia assists in preparing the next stocktaking exercise to assess the implementation of the Bologna Process commitments.

Educated at the Master’s level, she holds an MSc in International Political Communication, Advocacy, and Campaigning (with distinction) from Kingston University London (2014) and an MA in International Relations from the University of Bucharest (2004).
