Aspen Dialogue on the NATO Public Forum
The Aspen Dialogue on the NATO Public Forum was a dedicated event organized by the Aspen Institute Romania in parallel with the NATO Public Forum 2025 and the NATO Summit, taking place in The Hague on June 24–25.
Held in Bucharest on Tuesday, June 24, the event opened with a moderated discussion bringing together institutional representatives, experts, civil society actors, young professionals, and members of the diplomatic community, followed by a live screening of the NATO Public Forum’s official opening session. The conversation reflected on key themes addressed at the NATO Public Forum, such as deterrence and defense, democratic resilience, hybrid threats, support for Ukraine, and NATO’s evolving partnerships in a volatile global environment.
Through this format, the Aspen Dialogue aimed to bring the key discussions of the NATO Summit closer to the Romanian public, offering a platform for reflection and civic engagement on the future of transatlantic security, democratic values, and regional stability.
