
Andrei Cecoltan

Andrei Cecoltan was born in Chișinău, where he currently resides with his family. He is married and has one child. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, specializing in Marketing and Logistics, and later earned a master’s degree in Criminal Law from Moldova State University. Since July 2012, he has been serving in the public sector, working within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova. Throughout his career, he has acquired broad experience in areas such as international police cooperation, human resources, analysis, investigations, project management, and public policy development.
Andrei has consistently pursued professional development through specialized training programs. Among these are courses on human trafficking at the International School of Advanced Studies in Caserta, Italy; project management and EU fund administration at “Dunărea de Jos” University in Galați, Romania; and a trainer certification program at the Institute for Public Order Studies in Bucharest, Romania.
His key competencies include effective communication, adaptability, and stress resilience. He is known for his ability to clearly convey information, integrate quickly into new environments, and manage complex tasks under pressure without compromising quality. Andrei is fluent in Romanian, Russian, and English, which enables him to collaborate effectively with international teams and partners across diverse cultural and professional settings.
