Elena Cernăuțeanu serves as Head of the Internal Policy Directorate within the Office of the President of the Republic of Moldova. She holds a law degree from Moldova State University and brings over 16 years of experience in public service, with a strong focus on human rights protection.

Driven by a personal interest in the healthcare field, she also completed a master’s program in public health. Throughout her career in defending human rights, she has consistently promoted the right to health and is the author of several reports on the subject.

Elena values teamwork and firmly believes that true success can only be achieved through collaboration. She is married and the mother of two teenagers.
