Cristina Frolov proudly represents the third generation of the Trofim family, founders of Castel Mimi – a historic landmark and cultural icon in Moldova’s winemaking heritage. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in sustainable development across the wine industry, tourism, and social entrepreneurship.

As the General Manager of Castel Mimi, she has led the revitalization of this heritage site into a center of cultural and touristic excellence. Castel Mimi has been recognized as one of the Top 15 Architectural Masterpieces of the Wine World, a testament to its unique blend of tradition and innovation.

Beyond her business endeavors, Cristina is an expert in personal organization and serves as a mentor for women entrepreneurs, supporting them in building meaningful, resilient, and values-driven businesses.

One of her most heartfelt initiatives is the Constantin Mimi Foundation, through which she promotes education, culture, and social inclusion. Signature projects include the VinOPERA classical music festival, held annually at Castel Mimi and awarded Best Wine Event of the Year in 2022, as well as the “Hope and Support for Children with Disabilities” program, which offers therapeutic services for children and emotional support for their families.
