
Oscar Rojas

Oscar Rojas joined Ocean Aero in January 2024, as the President for Global Operations to bring forward the Triton AUSV (Autonomous Underwater and Surface Vehicle) as a viable solution to meet global commercial and military requirements.
Oscar retired from the U.S. Navy Special Operations Community in 2023, bringing 30+ years of U.S. Navy leadership experience across a wide range of military, civil, disaster relief, and humanitarian assistance operations. While assigned to the Chief of Naval Operations in the Pentagon, he developed and implemented strategy for resourcing and programming over $9.3B for the Naval Expeditionary and Navy Special Warfare Enterprises.
During Oscar’s military career, he severed as a Special Operations Liaison Officer in the White House for both President George Bush and President Barack Obama. During this assignement he assisted in writing several Counter Terrorism Presidential Policy Directives.
Oscar’s final assignment in the U.S. Navy was the Commodore, Task Force 52, located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Task Force was comprised of 1700+ multi-national military members and civilians ensuring free-flow of global maritime commerce through three strategic maritime choke-points in Middle East. He developed an advanced unmanned systems innovation plan to employ unmanned systems in multi-domain maritime operating environment, laying foundation to establish US Navy’s first-ever unmanned / Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force 59. He co-led the creation of Digital Ocean—Undersea Tactical Common Operating Picture and Program of Record by collaborating with industry, academia, and intelligence communities. This program is a cloud-based central data repository for underwater imagery that enables U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), intelligence agencies, and foreign allies to coordinate the operating areas within undersea environment.
He executed numerous military deployments in all seven continents of the world, and maintains a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. He has a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategy from the U.S. Naval War College. In 2015, he was selected as a Vice Admiral James Bond Stockdale Leadership Award finalist.
