Ihor Dolhov is currently the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration, after he previously represented Ukraine to NATO, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, between 2010 and 2015. He has a PhD in Linguistics and graduated from the State T. Shevchenko University of Kyiv. Between 1994-1997 he was a Counsellor at the Embassy of Ukraine to Finland. In 2002, he has became the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey and later, between 2006-2008, he held the same position in the Federal Republic of Germany. Ihor Dolhov is fluent in French, English and Polish.
