The event was organized at Mediacor Hub of the Moldova State University, by the NATO Liaison Office in the Republic of Moldova , in partnership with the Aspen Institute Romania and the Foreign Policy Association. During the interactive dialogue the participants debated ways in which NATO can support Moldova reach its European future.

Mr. Mircea Geoană (NATO Deputy Secretary General and AIR Founding President) engaged in a panel discussion with Mr. Jānis Mažeiks (Head of the EU Delegation to Moldova), Mr. Cosmin Dinescu (Head of the EU Partnership Mission to Moldova), Ms. Stella Jemna (Manager of the AIR Chisinau Office) and Mr. Petru Țurcan (Head of DCAF Moldova). Moderated by Mr. Ion Sturza (former Moldovan Prime Minister), the panellists discussed the recent regional security developments, Moldova’s European path, and its efforts to strengthen its security and defence institutions and enhance its national resilience, engaging in an interactive discussion with a diverse audience of civil society representatives.

During the event, the launch of the AIR Chişinău Office was officially announced.
