For Adrian, excellence in both life and profession matters most, along with faith in God and the beauty of this world, protecting and mentoring those around him, freedom in thought and living, and harmony with others and the environment in which he lives. When he was young, he dreamed of achieving all these by flying high as a pilot.

Planning a career in Romanian diplomacy, Adrian earned two degrees in Romanian and French law, and a Master’s degree in European law from Sorbonne. He also won significant awards in international public law competitions. However, he discovered business law during law school (1999) beeing recruited into one of the most powerful law firms and then becoming the Head of the Legal Department at Raiffeisen Leasing Romania for three years.

Simultaneously, Adrian developed his professional and entrepreneurial career. Over 20 years ago, before founding and rapidly expanding his law firm to over 30 attorneys, he founded and developed four companies, two of which perform very well today. He emerged from the 2008 economic crisis with a strong team in the energy sector, both in law and entrepreneurship. He continued to operate businesses in the energy, real estate, financial, and consulting sectors, practicing law internationally, which led to his invitation to become a member of Ecovis International in 2017.

For over 15 years, Adrian has participated in government and intergovernmental programs, managed sectoral associations, and served as a knowledge partner for reputable think tanks. He ensured their presence in Brussels and contributed to numerous legislative acts in highly regulated sectors such as energy, finance, aviation, construction, state aid, and more.

In addition to his law firm, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, Adrian’s current key business is the regional WIREN group. They focus on energy efficiency and renewable energy through rooftop and photovoltaic park installations (EPC), international distribution of PV equipment and energy storage solutions, and investments in photovoltaic power plants. Since joining the executive ownership, the turnover has grown annually by 4X, the team has expanded by over 15X, two Romanian regional offices have been opened and a subsidiary operates in Serbia.

The DNA of his legal profession is qualified assistance, and pro bono work has always been part of Adrian’s activities, especially for medical societies of various specialties (pneumology, pediatrics, medical recovery, cardiology, etc.).

Adrian has dedicated himself equally to informing and educating the general public (through TV and radio programs and widely addressed publications) and stakeholders in economic sectors (by speaking at conferences in Romania and abroad, organizing webinars and workshops), as well as teaching through lecturing at international summer law schools and published articles.

With enthusiasm and consistency, he continuously gathers his own learnings from annual entrepreneurship and coaching programs, ongoing participation in conferences and seminars, and from continuous exposure to challenging projects aligned with his mission and values.
