Aleksa Savić (he/him) is a youth worker, a NFE trainer and an activist with 10+ years of experience in the civil sector, based in Novi Sad, Serbia.

He is the Executive Director of the LGBT+ youth CSO Group ‘‘COME OUT’’ and the Chief of Party of the national project on the economic empowerment of LGBTQI+ youth ”Let’s Work Together”, supported by USAID. He coordinated an Africa-Europe Erasmus+ project ‘‘The Other Perspective’’ (2019-2022), empowering communities to better include LGBTQ+ people. He is one of the organizers of the first Novi Sad Pride (2019) and a co-author of the handbook on the work with LGBT+ students in high schools ‘‘Schools Safe for Everyone’’ (2020). 

In 2022 his team won the national competition in social entrepreneurship, intending to start a bar in which transgender youth do paid internships and receive support for employment. In 2024 he founded an informal group Foundation for Transition, for supporting transgender youth of Serbia in transition. 

He mentors social work students at the University of Novi Sad, on their internship in the organization. He volunteered as a Board member of the South-East European Youth Network, aimed at reconciliation through volunteering. In 2019 he received the Angie Award, for the contribution to the rights of the LGBT+ people of Novi Sad. He is passionate about global education and a practitioner of Theatre of the Oppressed.
