
Alexandra Fasola

With a background in Business and Finance, a Bachelor in Logistics and an MBA at Bocconi and Duke University, Alexandra worked for almost 10 years in Consulting and Finance before joining Heidelberg Materials. She is currently responsible for implementing the Group’s decarbonization strategy via Carbon Capturing, Utilization and Storage.
Her current role requires someone with professional maturity, able to understand complex problems with detailed financial and technical analyses for large capex projects, able to implement complex solution, with multiple partners; in addition, lobbying and interacting with partners and policy makers, advocacy inside and outside Heidelberg Materials, negotiations towards creating long lasting partnerships.
In her previous roles as a Strategy Consultant (Ensight, BCG) or Transactions/Finance Professional (EY) as well as at HM (Manager Strategy / M&A), she worked with various internal stakeholders, understood HM’s priorities, and gained the qualifications that were required for her current position. She is determined, open minded, a fast learner, and a strong believer in Europe’s mission to industrial decarbonization.
Originally from Iasi, Romania, Alexandra lived and worked in Romania, Italy, USA, and is currently based in Frankfurt, Germany.
