Alexandra Bocșe is a State Adviser and heads the Department of Climate and Sustainability within the Presidential Administration. The department performs analysis functions, recommends measures and helps set the national direction in the areas of green transition, adaptation to climate change, green finance and environmental and climate education.

Prior to joining the Presidential Administration, Alexandra Bocșe worked in analysis and research in the fields of European and International Affairs, Energy Governance and International Political Economy of the Environment and Climate within academic and intergovernmental organizations (University of Cambridge, LSE, European institutions and the UN system, etc.). Alexandra Bocșe graduated in 2017 with a PhD from the University of Cambridge, with a dissertation on energy governance in the European context.
