Alexandra helps purpose-driven organisations cultivate local communities as partners for change. The connecting thread in the ten years of experience in the NGO sector has been building community capacity, working with neighbourhood initiative groups, action research networks, civil society support organisations and community foundations.

Most recently, she founded Community Knowledge Works, an engagement consultancy providing research, design and facilitation for participation processes to bold organisations stewarding community-led change.

She holds a BA in International Affairs from Universidad Central de Venezuela, a double MA in the Politics of Transition in Central and Eastern Europe from University College London and Corvinus University, and studies Anthropology at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies.

Alexandra is the founder of Hey Mărie, a member of the Association for Urban Transition and Global Shaper alumna.
